About the Event
Research shows that individuals with a positive view on aging live an average of 7.5 years longer than those with less positive views on aging.
Aging with Gusto is a three-part, interactive series led by trained facilitators that aims to ignite more positive views on aging.
- Session 1: What contributes to your Aging with Gusto?
- Session 2: How can you recognize and respond to ageism?
- Session 3: How can you use your values and goals to live a life with gusto?
Aging with Gusto Program Goals
- Encourage more positive views of aging.
- Increase awareness of ageism and its impact on attitudes, behaviors, and experiences with aging.
- Explore how to maintain our well-being and manage challenges as we age.
- Develop ideas for how to “age with gusto."
You must attend all 3 sessions if you choose to participate. Registration required: Please contact Stacey at North Shore Area Partners at 218-353-1391 or at stacey@nsapartners.org.
