COVID-19 Update

Our office at the Lake County Service Center is Open By Appointment

North Shore Area Partners continues to offer a wide range of services to individuals over 60 years old -- from Beaver Bay/Silver Bay to the Finland/Isabella area. COVID-19 has changed how we interact with you, but we are still here to help in any way we can. Our office is open for in-person assistance by appointment, and we are available by phone during regular office hours. Volunteers and staff are following careful protocols to maintain your safety and theirs. We are here for you – even if you have never needed or asked for services before. Our new delivery service will bring groceries and prescriptions to your door. We can take you to your medical appointments and help you with light chores or housekeeping needs. If you are a caregiver, our trained employees can provide respite and other personal support. Call us to find out how we can help you stay safe and comfortable in your home.

We're Moving This Summer!

By generous donation from Wells Fargo, North Shore Area Partners is the proud owner of the former bank building in the Silver Bay Shopping Center. You may notice our signs appearing, and over the next few months you will see more activity as we renovate the space for new uses. By fall, we will be moving our offices to this easily accessible location, and we will have room for a variety of other activities that will serve seniors and the whole community.

Thank You to Volunteers!

A heartfelt thank you to North Shore Area Partners volunteers and the community at-large for helping our neighbors during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDC has issued a statement that the pandemic is not over yet, and we continue to welcome new volunteers so we can be prepared for whatever needs arise. If you are already a volunteer for NSAP and have not signed up during the pandemic but would like to be on our call list, please contact us at 226-3635. Opportunities are available for shopping and delivery of groceries and prescriptions, and transportation to medical appointments. We encourage you to continue to look out for your neighbors, practice social distancing guidelines of 6 feet when possible, and when distancing is not possible or you are out in public, we encourage you to wear a mask. Stay safe and healthy!
