Hands high-fiving

History

North Shore Area Partners (NSAP) was created in 2003 when community members established a non-profit to provide care for local elders that supports their choice, dignity and independence as they age. Designated a 501(c)(3) organization in 2004, NSAP operates under the guiding principles of the Living at Home Network and is governed by a local community board. NSAP provides services that help senior residents age 60+ live independently at home as long as possible.

Moving Forward

North Shore Area Partners' ongoing mission is to support independence for seniors with the vision of all elder residents connected to and cared for by our community. We value the dignity and worth of all people, the power of community and working respectfully and professionally. The foundation of our program is the dedication and generosity of our volunteers and the commitment and caring of our employees. The respect and trust of our community is demonstrated through their volunteerism and donations.

Our solid organizational history ensures that NSAP is well-positioned to deliver home and community based services to older adults well into the future, playing an essential role in enabling these residents to remain safely in their homes and engaged in their communities longer than otherwise possible.
